Der Justizskandal um den jüdischen Hauptmann Alfred Dreyfus war ein Höhepunkt antisemitischer Agitation in Frankreich, eine Zerreißprobe für die Dritte Republik und gleichzeitig die Geburtsstunde des engagierten Intellektuellen.
